Hello viewers! In this video, I describe step-by-step my washing and detangling routine. Here are a list of tools I take in the shower: 1) Shampoo and or Conditioner of choice + an inexpensive conditioner for use as a detangling creme. In this vid, I'm using Giovanni's line of products and Trader Joes Nourish Spa. 2) Butterfly clips - To secure parted sections 3) Hair prongs - To section off detangled sections 4) Wide tooth detangling Comb - To use after detangling with my fingers FIRST. 5) Drain Hair Catcher - to keep shedded hair from clogging drains and to collect hair in order to examine it 6) Handheld mirror - in order to see tangles or knots in your hair 7) Trimming scissors - to trim knots when necessary STEP 1 - I saturate my hair with water (Note: if I am clarifying my hair, I'll use mixture containing 10% Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with 90% water, please know this ratio varies to person to person. It larger depends on how much YOU and your hair can stand! And I don't clarify with every wash, only when I've got product build-up.
